Auto Polishing and Polishing of Your Car

Motorists who care for the long life of their car, they know about the benefits of high-quality painting with the subsequent polishing. What is a polishing vehicle, why is it being done, what types are offered?

What is auto polishing?

Giving an excellent appearance of the car, eliminating cracks, micro scratches and unevenness on its body, protecting the paint from the influence of external factors – all this is the result of car polishing. There are three types of it, namely: restorative, protective and involved. As the name implies, each has its purpose and is produced with the help of unique materials (polishes, grinding paste). A little detached is cleaning polishing.

What is it for?

The primary purpose of this is to return the shine to the aging body cover. This procedure removes the smallest particles of dust and dirt, minor scratches and other defects in painting. High gloss, lack of micro-cracks, nice flat surface, aesthetic appearance and acquisition of protective properties- all these are the advantages of car polish manufacturers in Delhi, performed in compliance with all the rules and conditions.

Stages and rules for polishing cars (time, temperature, tools, materials).

To dark polish, the car requires the availability of professional skills, appropriate materials, and tools (machine, medium, and ugly finish, polishing wheels and napkins). To get the expected effect of this process, it is necessary to produce it twice.

The procedure is carried out in 3 stages:

  • Partial removal of the body coating;
  • Restorative polishing, produced with the help of abrasive paste;
  • Protective polishing, for the implementation of which non-abrasive adhesive is used.

Note. Polishing wheels and compounds differ in their rigidity. For rough circles, rough polishing pastes are used, for the softer ones – on the contrary.

Classification of the circles is as follows:

  • Black- the softest (to enhance the shine),
  • Yellow/orange- medium (universal, to give a glossy effect and gloss enhancement),
  • White- hard (to remove microcracks and scratches).

The first two are designed to use non-abrasive polishes.

Polishing after painting

The protective polishing of the car after the car has been painted is carried out to preserve the properties of the coating. The compositions used in this procedure in no way affect the color of the paint, do not eliminate scratches and do not equalize the surface – this type of polishing is done solely to give additional protection to the coating.

Indeed, the price of hand-polishing the bodywork looks very tempting: you just have to wash the car, buy a polish, related funds that are not too expensive and allocate several hours for the process itself.

But to polish the car gave a positive result, you need to learn something well. Car polish manufacturers in India have identified seven basic rules for self-polishing, which we happily share with you:

  1. Carefully prepare to polish the car: be sure to wash the body of the car, clean it and leave it for few minutes to let it dry completely.
  2. Remove bitumen stains and tar, if left on the body after washing, with a particular tool. Polishing the car should be done with entirely clean paint.
  3. Find all visible defects of paintwork (scratches, cracks, chips) and treat them with restoring means of auto cosmetics.
  4. Self-polishing the car can bring a lot of trouble if you use ordinary, not designed for such a process, rags that can easily damage the surface of the paint.
  5. How to polish the car correctly? Do not apply polish simultaneously to all parts of the body in large quantities: start the polishing process from the roof and gradually go down to the rapids. Polish LCV evenly with the same force, avoiding visible transitions of different polished areas.
